We love the quirky nature of these beautiful birds! They are some of the largest cockatoos in Australia, and are extremely chatty, with a remarkably human-like 'hello' as part of their repertoire. 

 

The palm cockatoo - also known as the goliath or great black cockatoo, is found in the rainforests and woodland areas of New Guinea and the Cape York Peninsular of Queensland.
