The Granite Belt is one of the most exciting wine destinations in Australia. I believe the Sirromet Vineyards which are nestled in this granite belt region of Mt Cotton epitomizes the culture of the people and the nature of the region between Byron and Brisbane. It definitely caters to the great Australian relaxed and fun-loving lifestyle.

 

The beauty and serenity of this image of a typical day dawning at Sirromet was brilliantly captured by photographer, Robert Vanthof. It left me breathless with awe and of course, I had to immediately had to try and capture it on canvas. I particularly enjoyed creating the sky with all its colourful hues and swirls.
